Our next event will be a half-day Improvers’ Workshop, led by Clare Nash with live music by Andrew Lyon
Saturday 7 March 2026 – 1.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Venue – Tarporley Community Centre
Fee £8, including tea/coffee and biscuits
This Workshop is aimed at newer dancers, who must have attended classes for at least 12 months. It would also be suitable for those less confident in their footwork and formations.

About Clare
Clare has a ballet trained background and did not even start Scottish Country Dancing until her forties whilst being on the Continent.

She danced with various groups in France, Germany and Switzerland for over 20 years, attending workshops, day schools and balls.
She was in several demonstration teams. Upon her return to the UK she finished her teacher training, becoming fully certified in 2024.
She is currently on the teaching rota at RSCDS Cheshire Branch and Nantwich Scottish Society.
She also attends a Zoom class for Scottish Step and has performed on demonstration teams at St Andrews.
Clare enjoys sharing her passion and enthusiasm for Scottish Country Dancing with others.
